Florence Mary (Parr) Payment, age 89, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday March 17th, 2024, surrounded by her four daughters.

Florence was born on Neebish Island, Michigan, August 23, 1934, to Thomas Parr and Irene (Martin) Parr. Florence was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved gardening, crocheting, hunting, camping, dancing, and listening to country music. She enjoyed traveling to football and hockey games to watch her grandchildren play. Most of all, she enjoyed being together with her family.

Florence is survived by her daughters, Debra (Francis) King of Zephyrhills, Florida, Ronda (Roger) Johnson of Brimley, Michigan, Flo (Jon) Reattoir of Sault Ste. Marie, and Cheri (Mike) Hill of Sault Ste. Marie; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Casey, Janel King, Erin (Kris) Bontrager, Robert Johnson, Seth (Miranda) Johnson, Kyler (Heather) Reattoir, Tanner Reattoir, Ron Hill, Ryan (Kali) Hill, Randen (Michelle) Hill, Mike (Kalle) Hill, Travis Hill; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Florence is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Ronald Payment; their infant son, Ronald Jr.; parents, Thomas and Irene Parr; siblings, Marie Bosley, Grace Smith, James Parr, Frank Parr; and grandson, Michael Johnson.

A private celebration of life with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will be held at a later date.
