Glen Clifford Captain, age 89, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He was born on May 30, 1934, in Munoscong, Michigan to the late Thomas and Mary (Gardner) Captain and raised on Neebish Island, Michigan.

Glen retired from working at LSSU in 1996. He enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. Glen was also a member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Glen is survived by his Wife, Vida M. Captain; son, Robert Captain; stepdaughters, Ada (John) Dalgleish and Kathy-Ann; twelve grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Glen was proceeded in death by his parents; Thomas and Mary (Gardner) Captain; stepson, James (Jim) Ailing.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 11:30 AM till 1:30 PM at Family Life Funeral Homes (C S Mulder Funeral Home). The Funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.

The final resting place will be at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
