Glenda Jean O’Polka, died on June 2, 2024, at Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on February 2, 1950, in Sault Ste. Marie to John and Freda (Stevenson) O’Polka.

Glenda grew up in Raber, Michigan and attended DeTour High School. Glenda met Jay Fehner and they fell in love and made their home in the woods at the original Fehner Homestead of Goetzville, Michigan.

Glenda loved rock hunting, wild berry picking, wood burning, art, and long walks. Glenda enjoyed animals of all kinds and loved feeding deer and birds.

Glenda is survived by her life partner, Jay Fehner; nephew, Mike Crawford; and friends Debbie, Serena, and Betsy.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Freda O’Polka.

The family would like express their thanks to all who called and visited her during her illness. For someone who never left the area she sure had a lot of people that loved her.

Per Glenda’s wishes, there will be no Services.
