Jane Denise Willis, age 65, died peacefully at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 18, 2024, after a long illness. She was born on May 23, 1959, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Clyde and Sophie (Boulley) Willis.

Jane was a spiritual and kind soul and will be deeply missed by her family. She fought a long hard battle to overcome the pain and suffering that has taken so many lives. Jane will finally be free as she transitions into eternal rest. She would want others to pray for those suffering with addictions and to volunteer for programs such as domestic violence and at homeless shelters.

Jane was a member of The Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She was very proud of her Native American Heritage and Culture.

Jane is survived by her children, Janelle Cornelius, Travis LaTour and Nathan LaTour; siblings, Carol Willis, Jerry Willis, Willard (Jodie) Willis of Sault Ste. Marie and Marie Kinville of Lansing, Michigan.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Sophie; and brothers, Ernie and Roger Young.

Per Jane’s wishes, there will be no services held.
