Obituaries

Janet Ann (Haselhuhn) Church, Age 85, of Drummond Island, Michigan, peacefully passed away on September 4, 2024.

Janet was born 12/18/1938 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Herman Martin and Irene (Hobson) Haselhuhn.

Janet moved to Drummond Island in the early 1960’s and fell in love with the natural beauty, the tranquility, and all that the island had to offer.

Janet especially loved ice fishing in her younger years, she grew her own garden most years, and she was talented enough to make most of her own clothes.

Remaining to cherish Janet’s memory are children, Patrice Nowiszewski and Ron Fick; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Diana Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Brown and Betty Majors.
