Obituaries

Jeremiah Lee Kunze, age 26, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on December 17, 2023, at his home. He was born on October 7, 1997, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was born to Jeffery and Alice (Rummel) Kunze.

Jeremiah was born with a twin sister, Sarah. He was always happy and had a contagious smile that lit up the room. He loved and recognized the sound of the school bus coming to pick him up for school. His family took him everywhere, so he could experience the surroundings around him.

Jeremiah loved music, animals, being around people, and enjoying life.

Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Alice Marie Kunze of Sault Ste. Marie; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Kunze of Sault Ste. Marie; Grandmothers, Andrea Nevene Kunze of Arizona and Corinne Alice Rummel of Macomb, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Jeremiah is preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Lee Kunze; grandfathers, Leroy Charles Kunze and Arthur Lee Rummel.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Crosspoint Church, 44000 N. Ave., Clinton Township 48056. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend David Ledbetter.

A memorial service is to be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Sault Wesleyan Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Jeremiah’s final resting place will be in Rochester Hills, Michigan, at the Christian Memorial Gardens West.
