Julie Ann Armstrong, age 60, died on December 8, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on August 7, 1964, in Sault Ste. Marie to Leon and Dorothy “June” (Richards) Armstrong.

Julie grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School. She met Darren, they got married and had ten wonderful years together before he unexpectedly died. She raised their sons, Adam and Alex, and after they were grown, she worked for Reids Metal as a secretary for many years.

Julie enjoyed cooking and baking, making delicious meals and treats for family and friends. She loved to be outdoors doing a variety of activities with her favorite being gardening and camping.

Julie is survived by her sons, Adam (Julie) Jones and Alex Armstrong of Sault Ste. Marie; grandchildren, Adam Jones Jr., Darren Jones, Kyra Jones, Brooklynn Armstrong and Braylyn Miller; great-grandchildren, Axel Kennedy; brothers, John Armstrong of Sault Ste. Marie, Rich (Jo) Armstrong of Florida, and Tom (Mary) Armstrong of Sault Ste. Marie.

Julie was preceded in death by husband, Darren; parents, Leon and Dorothy.

A service will be held at a later date.

Julie’s final resting place will be Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
