Karen was a friend to many and enjoyed strong relationships with a wide circle of people. She loved to travel. Some of her favorite trips included rafting and camping down the Colorado River and an Alaskan cruise. She loved basketball and especially the Indiana Hoosiers and Butler Bulldogs. And she loved that the Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears (a sister’s favorite team) in Super Bowl XLI (2007).
