Kenneth Arthur Parr, age 82, of Barbeau, Michigan, died on January 13, 2024, at Cedar Cove Assisted Living in Cedarville, Michigan. He was born on December 7, 1941, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Frederick Earl and Vera Annie (Underhill) Parr.

Ken was a great friend to many and was known for spending hours in his garage, tinkering away. Besides working on projects, he enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and sharing a drink or two with good company.

Ken was an active member in the Northern Michigan Antique Flywheelers and E.U.P. Antique Associations. He enjoyed displaying his engines and antique farm equipment.

Ken “KP” as he was affectionately called, loved to share his knowledge, and lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He is known for the great love he held for his family and really enjoyed the antics of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
They always brought a huge smile to his face whenever he was around them.

Ken is survived by his wife, Sharon Parr; son, Roger (Jillian) Parr; daughter, Lannie
(John) Castagne; grandchildren, Nicole (Derek) Alligood, Kyle (April) Champ, Tyler
(Jestina) Castagne, Ethan (Katie) Castagne; great-grandchildren, Tristan Champ,
Charleigh Alligood, Clint Castagne, Wade Castagne, and Evelyn Castagne; sister,
Verna (Herbert) Brown.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick, and Vera Parr; brother, Ray Parr;
son, Richard Parr; grandson, Dylan Parr.

Per Ken’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
