Kenneth Donald Orlang, age 64, of Newberry, Michigan, died at home on October 22, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on May 22, 1959, to Donald and Bertha (Heinrich) Orlang.

Kenneth was raised in Roseville, Michigan, with his three siblings, Katherine, LaVern, and Susan. He worked and ran “The Woods” Canoe Rental in Newberry. He lived in the Upper Peninsula for more than forty years.

Kenneth is survived by his brother, LaVern Orlang of East Liverpool, Ohio; sisters, Katherine Sager of Roseville, Michigan, and Susan Schrade of Clinton Township, Michigan; and significant other, Doreen Ryan of Newberry.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bertha Orlang.
