Patricia Louise Rose, age 100, of Dafter, Michigan, died on August 16, 2024, at the Hearthside Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on March 17, 1924, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Thomas and Elizabeth (Aube) Rose.

Louise lived her entire life in Dafter. She was a lifelong and oldest member of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Brimley, Michigan. Louise retired as the United States Postmaster in Dafter. In retirement she traveled the world and absolutely loved it.

Louise was a member of the War Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and she was one of the original members of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church pasty crew.

Louise is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews and friends of theirs; and many close neighbors, who all called her “Aunt Weese.”

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth; sisters, LaVerne and Thomasine; brothers, Harry, George, Dan, and Fred; several nephews and nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 6769 M-221, Brimley, Michigan on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Sault Ste. Marie.
