Raydella Rose (Kirkpatrick) Shagen, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on July 6, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault. Raydella was born on March 27, 1954, in Sault Ste. Marie to Hugh and Viola (Johns) Kirkpatrick.

Raydella was a homemaker and enjoyed wearing her sun dresses, being outside, basking in nature, or taking her time to look at flowers. She enjoyed playing games on Facebook, eating ruffle chips, and drinking coffee. But above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Raydella was a collector of all things Beanie Babies and had an extensive collection of knick-knacks.

Raydella is survived by her son, Hugh Rexstrew; sister, Linda Kirkpatrick; and grandchildren, Orion Rexstrew, Cristopher Rexstrew and Drake Rexstrew.

Raydella was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy Shagen; parents, Hugh and Viola; and sister, Lucy Kirkpatrick.

Raydella’s final resting place will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bay Mills Township, Michigan.

Per the families wishes, there will be no services at this time.
