It is with deep sadness that the family of Sandra Alexina Rath, of Dafter, Michigan, announces her passing on November 19th, 2024, much too soon at the age of 66. She was born on August 6th, 1958, to Harold and Annette (Savoie) Rath.

Sandra embraced life with enthusiasm. Her passions included cooking, shopping, camping, blueberry picking, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were precious blessings to her, and she was grateful for every moment spent with them. She was always bringing happiness to them by baking or cooking their favorite dishes and treats. Sandra had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her unique laughter was contagious and could help to brighten anyone’s day.

Sandra was a devoted member of St. Joseph Church and the Holy Rollers, her selfless spirit shone through volunteering, which brought her such joy.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Jasmine Nelson of Algonquin, Illinois, Alexandra (Kris) Brommenschenkel of Newberry, Michigan, and Brianna Edgar of Dafter; grandchildren, Drew and Cole Nelson, Jada, Jemma and Ariella Brommenschenkel; siblings, Rose (Dennis) Guillard, Marcia (Chuck) Connon, Barb Rath, Paul Rath, Rich (Corrie) Rath; sister-in-law, Kathi Rath.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Annette; and brother, Ken Rath.

A Memorial Service will be held on December 14th, 2024, 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph’s Church, 606 E. 4th Ave., Sault Ste. Marie.
